SunnySky aggregates third-party forecasts and community reports. Forecasts can be wrong and community reports are unverified observations by other users. Never rely on SunnySky for life-safety decisions. In severe weather, follow official guidance from your national weather service and local authorities.
You own what you post. By posting reports, asks, answers, and photos you grant SunnySky a license to display them to other users per your visibility settings. Post only truthful, first-hand observations; no harassment, impersonation, spam, or content targeting individuals. Asks target places, never people.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. We may hide or remove content and suspend community posting access when these rules are broken.
Every community report or ask written by another SunnySky user in the Feed carries Report, Mute, and Block. Your own reports use delete controls, and official NWS spotter reports are not SunnySky user-generated content. An unresolved flag is stored once per reporting account. Once the same item has unresolved flags from two distinct accounts, it is automatically hidden from other community readers while its author and moderators retain access.
Flags enter a private moderator queue. A moderator can dismiss the unresolved flags and leave or restore the item visible, uphold them and hide or keep the item hidden, or suspend its author from further community posting. SunnySky does not promise a review time; email us to escalate something urgent. Mute prevents SunnySky's database from returning that account's reports and asks to you. Block applies that record-level filtering in both directions. Content already downloaded or saved outside SunnySky cannot be revoked.
Deleting a report removes its uploaded photos; temporary storage failures are queued and retried. When account deletion completes, the account, its community posts, report photos, and avatar files are removed. SunnySky currently has one free plan. Each network account can create up to 1,000 combined reports and answers and 20 asks in any rolling 24 hours. These are anti-spam ceilings, not paid-plan limits. Demo samples and actions are local and are not submitted to the community.
SunnySky Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly through your Apple App Store or Google Play account at the price shown in the app before you confirm. Payment is charged to that account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically at the same price and term unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings — deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. Any unused portion of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Severe weather alerts and every forecast source are free for every account and are never behind the paywall.

Radar is a North American layer — the NOAA/NWS mosaic across the United States and its territories, the ECCC mosaic across Canada — and outside that footprint the app draws no radar rather than an empty one.
