SunnySky · Weather you can question
Email support@sunnyskyweather.com. We read everything and usually reply within two business days. If you are reporting a bug, telling us your device, iOS version, and roughly when it happened makes it far easier to find.
SunnySky is not a safety service. Warnings in the app come from your national weather service, but forecasts can be wrong and community reports are unverified observations by other people. In severe weather, follow official guidance from your weather service and local authorities. Severe weather alerts are included for every account.
You do not need to sign up to look around. On the sign-in screen, choose Explore without an account to open a sample session with example reports and follows already in place. Live weather for your location is real; the reports and people are samples. Moderation actions affect those sample cards locally and are not submitted to the community.
SunnySky has no passwords. You enter your email and we send a six-digit code that signs you in. If the code does not arrive, check your spam folder, then request a new one — codes expire after a few minutes. Still stuck? Email us and we will sort it out.
With your permission, SunnySky uses your location to show conditions where you are and sends coordinates only as needed to weather, map, place-name, and routing providers. It does not read or track your live location in the background. Reports and asks you post use a neighborhood-level location rather than your raw GPS coordinates, and you can set any city manually instead of granting location access at all.
In the app, open Profile and scroll to Delete account. It asks twice, then erases your account and its data. You can also request deletion from the web.
Every community report or ask written by another SunnySky user in the Feed carries Report, Mute, and Block. Mute prevents SunnySky's database from returning that account's reports and asks to you. Block applies that record-level filtering in both directions, and you can manage blocked accounts from your Profile. Content already downloaded or saved outside SunnySky cannot be revoked. Unresolved flags from two distinct accounts automatically hide an item from other community readers. Flags enter a private moderator queue, where a moderator can leave or restore an item visible, hide or keep it hidden, or suspend its author from community posting under the terms. We do not promise a review time. To escalate something urgent, email support@sunnyskyweather.com.
SunnySky is free to download, and severe weather alerts, radar and every forecast source are free for every account — they are never part of Pro. Pro is an optional subscription, $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year in the US (the App Store shows your country's price), bought inside the iPhone app. The first 100 accounts hold Pro for life at no charge.
Restore a purchase: in the app, Profile → What Pro adds (Your plan, if you already have Pro) → Restore Purchases, signed in to the account you want it on. Cancel: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → SunnySky Weather. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription; Apple handles billing and refunds.
In any rolling 24 hours a free account can post 5 reports and answers combined and ask 2 questions. Pro raises that to 1,000 and 20 — which are also the anti-spam ceilings every account shares.
SunnySky compares several independent forecasts rather than reprinting one. See every source it reads and what each one is used for.
